There is a relationship between the phases of the NAO and the manifestations of climatic risk recorded in the winter of 1050 and 2010 in Coimbra. There were periods with higher quantitative rainfall, higher flow rates and higher monthly occurrence of floods, wich corresponded to the negatives phases...
