They include data acquired through the Norwegian MAREANO seafloor mapping programme (www.mareano.no), that are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Detailed information about the bathymetric data and mapping methods are outlined in the associated manuscript and README.txt file contained within this dataset. This work was funded by a Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty Research Fund (Newcastle University) and a Junior Research Fellowship, Peterhouse College (University of Cambridge). It was also produced with the financial assistance of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and the support of the Geological Survey of Norway (NGU).
