Summary: | International audience In the heart of the Arctic Ocean, the extensive continental shelf claims of Canada, Denmark and Russia overlap on the Lomonosov Ridge, an undersea mountain range that stretches from northern Greenland and the Canadian island of Ellesmere to the Siberian coast. For a long time, these disputes, often reported by the media only through the prism of the conflict, have been the subject of comment and analysis. The war between Russia and Ukraine since February 2022 and its consequences could make the resolution of these disputes more complex than in the past. |
