Summary: | Avhandlingen tar for seg to rettsprosesser fra 1840- og 1850-tallet hvor kvinner ble tiltalt for å bedrive "omgjengelse mot naturen" med hverandre. Oppgaven undersøker hvordan kvinnelig seksualitet, og spesielt seksuell kontakt mellom kvinner, ble snakket om og forstått i disse rettsprosessene. The thesis examines two court cases from the 1840s and 1850s where women were prosecuted for having "intercourse that is against nature" with each other.
