Data analyzed in this study were a re-analysis of existing data, which are openly available at locations cited in the reference section of " Global tectonic patterns of the Moon ". The data are the spherical harmonic expansion coefficients of South-Pole Aitken (SPA) and Lunar Mare models. Format for the spherical harmonics is the usual SHTOOLS format: l, m, Clm, Slm. The SPA crustal thickness data (SHTOOLS_SH_correctedcrustalthickness_v2_180919_0000_to_0310.txt) is a table of the normalized spherical harmonic expansion coefficients from l=0 to l=310. The Lunar Mare data (SHTOOLS_SH_lunarmare_0000_to_0179.txt) is a table of the normalized spherical harmonic expansion coefficients from l=0 to l=179 For inquiries regarding the contents of this dataset, please contact the Corresponding Author listed in the README.txt file.
