Summary:The centre of this full-colour souvenir plate depicts the Coat of Arms of the Northwest Territories, surrounded by a wreath of mountain avens, the Territorial floral symbol, on a white base. Below the wreath are the words "Yellowknife N.W.T", written in black. The lip or border of the plate is ridged. Size: 2 cm X 23 cm diameter. Backstamp reads: "Royal Rose Pottery Canada". Production date: not known, but post-1957 when the mountain avens was adopted as the floral emblem.
