Philippe Amstalavski, Public Health, College of Health, is interested in Arctic environmental health, effects of changes in hydrology on circumpolar health, and the fate of contaminants in the environment. Alexander James, Economics, College of Business and Public Policy, is interested in environmental and resource economics and in analyzing a variety of economic problems using experimental methods, especially those related to non-market valuation and public policy.
