Summary:SARI Lapangan M merupakan lapangan minyak dengan fokus penelitian berada di Formasi Lower Baturaja, Cekungan Sunda, dan merupakan Daerah Operasi oleh milik CNOCC SES Ltd. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persebaran fasies dan diagenesis reservoir serta hubungannya terhadap kualitas reservoir pada Lapangan Selatan M. Data – data yang menunjang penelitian ini terdiri atas data batuan inti, log sumur, sayatan tipis petrografi deskripsi cutting dan swc. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di peroleh 5 asosiasi fasies yang masing – masing terendapkan pada zona pembagian terumbu yang berbeda. Asosiasi fasies skeletal debris – planktonic foraminifera wackestone to packstone terendapkan di zona reef front, asosiasi fasies coral packstone serta coral – algae packstone dan algae – large foraminifera bindstone pada zona reef flat dan reef flat – reef crest, asosiasi fasies coral – large foram mudstone to wackestone dan coral - skeletal debris mudstone to wackestone pada zona lagoon. Pada daerah penelitian direkomendasikan reservoir yang paling baik berada pada interval dengan zona pembagian terumbu reef flat dan reff flat – reef crest dan pola pertumbuhan karbonat keep – up, serta hasil diagenesis didominasi porositas vuggy, selain itu terdapat porositas fracture, channel, dan pengisian hidrokarbon pada porositas. Oleh sebab itu, interval yang direkomendasikan diharapkan masih memiliki kandungan minyak sisa yang relatif bagus dan menjadi acuan untuk melanjutkan eksplorasi di sumur lainnya. Kata Kunci : Asosiasi Fasies, Diagenesis Batugamping, Sikuen Stratigrafi, Kualitas Reservoir, Formasi Lower Baturaja ABSTRACT Selatan M field is an oil field with a research focus on the Lower Baturaja Formation, Sunda Basin, and operational area owned by CNOOC SES Ltd. The aim of this research is to determine facies distribution and diagenetic of limestone, also its relation to reservoir quality in Selatan M field. Data used in this research consist of core, well log, thin section from core and side wall core samples, cutting and side wall core description. Based on the analysis. There are 5 facies association which deposited on the different zone. The skeletal facies of debris - planktonic foraminifera wackestone to packstone are deposited in the reef front, the coral packstone facies association as well as the coral - algae packstone and algae - large foraminifera bindstone in the flat reef zone and the reef flat - reef, coral - large foram mudstone to wackestone and coral - skeletal debris mudstone to wackestone associations in the lagoon zone. From several analysis, we can conclude that reservoir quality is not controlled by facies differences but from the analysis of diagenesis, porosity value and time deposition. In the study area it is recommended that reservoirs are best located at intervals reef flat and reef flat – reef crest with keep-up carbonate growth pattern, and the result of diagenesis is dominated by vuggy porosity, in addition to fracture porosity, channel porosity, and hydrocarbon filling on porosity. Therefore, the recommended intervals are expected to still have relatively good remaining oil content and become a reference for continuing exploration in other wells.
