En este artículo condensamos la cuestión de las Islas del Atlántico Sur (Malvinas, Georgias del Sur y Sandwich del Sur) como una causa de unión de los países de América Latina que se debe arraigar en el sentir de una identidad por formalizar, que es la de los ciudadanos de Latinoamérica unida. Hemos organizado este ensayo con el siguiente esquema: 1.-Introducción, 2.-La cuestión Malvinas – Islas del Atlántico Sur Argentinas, 3.- Estados Unidos –Argentina – La OEA y la cuestión de las Islas del Atlántico Sur, 4.- La solidaridad de América Latina por la causa Malvinas argentinas, y 5.- Consideraciones finales.AbstractIn this article we condense the issue of the South Atlantic Islands (Malvinas, South Georgias and South Sandwich Islands) as a cause for the union of Latin American countries that should take root in an identity yet to become a reality, namely that of the citizens of a united Latin America. We have organized this essay as follows: 1. Introduction. 2. The Malvinas/Argentinean South Atlantic Islands matter. 3. United States / Argentina / OAS and the issue of the South Atlantic Islands. 4. Latin American solidarity with the Argentinean Malvinas cause. 5. Final conclusions.
