Otrok s pomočjo lutke namreč vstopa, spoznava in podoživlja situacije iz svojega vsakdanjega življenja, ko se je znašel v težavah ali vstopil v konflikt z vrstniki. Lutka mu pri tem omogoča, da z varne distance spoznava in preizkuša ustrezne in neustrezne načine reševanja različnih okoliščin. Na podlagi projekta, ki sem ga izvedla v Vrtcu Urša v Domžalah v starostni skupini štiri- do šestletnih otrok, lahko potrdim, da je bilo ob prisotnosti lutk že kaj kmalu zaznati spremembe v medsebojnih odnosih med otroki. Ob vstopu lutk v igralnico se je spremenil njihov način igre, saj je le-ta vsebovala več besedne komunikacije, druženja in sodelovanja kot prej. Motiviranost otrok je bila ves čas projekta na visoki ravni, kar pripisujem tudi večji participaciji otrok pri kreiranju projekta. Otroci so podajali svoje predloge, ideje in izboljšave, moja naloga pri tem pa je bila, da sem jim prisluhnila in slišano tudi uresničila. Tako so bili otroci tisti, ki so odločali o poteku dnevnih dejavnosti, kar jih je še dodatno motiviralo za delo. Prav tako so se imeli možnost preizkusiti v delu po skupinah, saj so sami izrazili željo po ustvarjanju lutkovne predstave za ostale prijatelje v vrtcu. Lutke so otroke med seboj še bolj povezale. Z njihovim vstopom se je zmanjšalo število konfliktov. Prevladovati je začela simbolna igra, v katero so bili vključeni tako dečki kot deklice, ki so se pred projektom večinoma igrali ločeno. V času izvajanja lutkovnih dejavnosti je bilo začutiti prijetno in sproščeno vzdušje, napolnjeno z igrivostjo in radovednostjo otrok. Using puppets, my goal was to find out their impact on social relations between kindergarten kids, ages three to six. Puppets help children to enter, acknowledge and relive situations from their everyday life, when they are met up with a problem or have, perhaps, gotten in a conflict with a friend. Puppets enable them to deal with such problems from a safe distance, employing all kinds of various approaches in different environments in order to solve them. Project performance took place in kindergarten Urša in Domžale. Children who participated in it were of age four to six. The puppets made an impact on them quite fast, since the changes between their actions and communication were soon noticeable. Even the way they played has changed- it suddenly included more word communitation, socializing and help offers. Their motivation to participate in project activities was high the entire time, which is why they aided in guiding and creating the activity in their own way, by giving ideas, suggestions, and improvements. My role was to listen to them and let them guide the activity. They had a chance to participate in group activities and, if they wished, make their own puppet show for their friends. Therefore, puppets connected them even more. Soon, there was more symbolic play between boys and girls, who didn't interact much before the project, and there was less conflict overall.
