Izvleček Frazemi predstavljajo pomemben del vsakega jezika. Frazemi bogatijo naše besedišče in se z njimi srečujemo v vsakdanji komunikaciji. Frazemi kot sestavni del časopisnih člankov predstavljajo velik zalogaj tako za pisca besedil kot tudi za bralca. Za uporabo frazemov v časopisnih člankih je pomembno veliko premisleka prav tako pa je pomembno, da pisec uporabi frazeme, za katere je prepričan, da so na nivoju bralčevih kognitivnih sposobnosti. V uvodu samega magistrskega dela je postavljena teza ter ostala raziskovalna vprašanja. Magistrsko delo je raziskava frazemov v nemškem časopisu Die Zeit na osnovi Burgerjeve klasifikacije frazemov. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena teorija s področja frazeologije, ki mi je služila kot podlaga pri sami analizi frazemov v empiričnem delu. Velik del empiričnega dela je namenjen tudi modifikacijam frazemov. Empirični del se zaključi z najpomembnejšo ugotovitvijo o rabi nove oblike modifikacije frazema ter z ovržbo teze. Abstract Phraseological units are an important part of every language. Phraseological units enrich our vocabulary and we encounter them in everyday communication. Phraseological units, as an integral part of newspaper articles, represent a great bite for text writers as well as the reader. The use of phrases in newspaper articles needs a lot of consideration, and it is also important for the writer to use phraseological units, for which he is convinced to be at the level of the reader's cognitive abilities. In the introduction to the master's thesis, the thesis and other research questions are raised. The master's thesis is the research of the phraseological units in the German newspaper Die Zeit, based on the Burger Classification of Phraseological units. In the theoretical part, the theory of phraseology is presented, which served as the basis for the analysis of the phraseological units in the empirical part. A large part of the empirical part is also dedicated to modification of the phrasal units. The empirical part concludes with the most important finding about the use of a new form of modification of the phraseological units and the denial of the thesis.
