Data from the 2006 Census are available for the geographical locations where these populations reside, including areas with urban/rural and Indian reserve designations. Data pertaining to the socio-economic characteristics of these populations are also available. There are three comprehensive Profile tables: Profiles - Aboriginal Population Profile for Canada, Provinces and Territories, Census Divisions and Census Subdivisions; Profiles - Aboriginal Population Profile for Census Metropolitan Areas and Census Agglomerations; Profiles - Aboriginal Population Profile for Selected Designated Places, Inuit Regions and Indian Band Areas.
