Therefore in the present study were analysed hydrocarbons, sterols, fatty acids (FAMEs) and waxes from the total lipid extracts of three zooplankton samples (1mm mesh Plankton Hamburg Net) collected on December 1997 in the stations PHN20, 22 and 30 in the "Continental Slope" sector of the Ross Sea.
