The Black Beach at Myrdalshreppur

Iceland inspired print. Collagraph on paper. The printing plate was made by tearing at the edges of birch plywood. Texture was added through application of various arcylic gels, including crackle paste. Faux gold leaf was added in the printing process via the chine collé technique.
