Summary: | Immigrant youths have several impacts on the European Union, in terms of culture, economy, and society. As their life experiences continue to shape immigration policies, the ability to implement such policies can be hindered by various crisis. Theorizing from the perspective of crisis, we uncover the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on the work life of immigrant youths and strategic responses using empirical data from interviews and focus groups among institutions in Finland. Our conclusions suggest opportunities that can be routinized for handling various works of life among immigrant youths during a crisis. |
