Summary: | This article reports the findings from interviews conducted with mostly Lapland-based manufacturing companies in the field of cold-protective clothing. The interviews are connected to one of the most central goals and measures of the project: updating the research, development and innovation environments, learning environments and training materials to meet the needs of working life and the labour market. We have investigated the research and product development needs of companies in the field and, at the same time, surveyed interest in the activities of the international ArcticPro network. This report compiles the most important observations on the needs for research, product development and areas of interest from a few different-sized companies that operate in the field. |
