Techniques for the analysis of the stochastic dynamics of offshore systems

This paper addresses the modeling of the dynamics of moored structures and different techniques for the evaluation of the resulting differential equations. Benefits and limits of simplifying assumptions such as linearizations or deterministic descriptions of random processes are discussed.
