| Summary: | Questa edizione raccoglie i racconti di viaggio di Régnard (nelle Fiandre, in Olanda, in Svezia e Danimarca, in Lapponia, in Polonia e Germania nel 1681-1682, e in Normandia /Chaumont nel 1689), nonché il romanzo postumo La Provençale, che rievoca in chiave romanzesca il rapimento dei corsari turchi e il successivo periodo di schiavitù vissuto dall’autore ad Algeri tra ottobre 1678 e maggio 1679. Questi testi erano apparsi per la prima volta nelle Œuvres (1731) e non avevano ancora conosciuto. This edition gathers the travel stories of Régnard (in Flanders, Holland, Sweden and Denmark, Lapland, Poland and Germany in 1681-1682, and Normandy/Chaumont in 1689), as well as the postumo novel La provençale, which evokes romanzeshe of the kidnapping of Turkish corsaries and the subsequent slavery of the author in Algiers between October 1678 and May 1679. These texts appeared for the first time in the uvres (1731) and had not yet known.
