Recensements du Canada 1665 à 1871 Ce site, mis en ligne par Statistique Canada (organe gouvernemental tenant les statistiques officielles du pays), donne accès à près de 350 tableaux issus de 98 recensements historiques produits au Canada entre 1665 et 1871. Presque tous ces recensements ont été effectués avant la Confédération canadienne, survenue en 1867. On y trouve ainsi les données de dénombrements français concernant Terre-Neuve, la vallée du Saint-Laurent et l’Acadie, puis ceux effe. Canada censuses 1665-1871 This site, uploaded by Statistics Canada (government body responsible for the country’s official statistics), gives access to almost 350 tables from 98 historical censuses produced in Canada between 1665 and 1871. Almost all these censuses were carried out before the Canadian Confederation, which took place in 1867. For example, the French figures for Newfoundland, the Saint-Laurent Valley and ACADIE can be found, and then the figures fall down.
