Ce numéro 37, dirigé par Harri Veivo, est consacré à la région arctique, aux réalités qui s’y logent et aux mythes qui l’entourent. Le thème est motivé dans un premier temps par un intérêt économique et géopolitique sans précédent dont la région est l’objet aujourd’hui grâce aux gisements de pétrole et de gaz et à l’ouverture annoncée des passages du Nord-Est et du Nord-Ouest à l’exploitation commerciale. Porteuses d’optimisme économique, ces perspectives d’exploitation sont également riches . This 37 edition, led by Harri Veivo, focuses on the Arctic region, the realities of the Arctic and the myths surrounding it. The theme is initially motivated by an unprecedented economic and geopolitical interest to which the region is currently subject, thanks to oil and gas deposits and the announced opening-up of the north-east and north-west routes to commercial exploitation. As a source of economic optimism, these prospects for exploitation are also rich.
