In La petite fille sur la banquise, Adélaïde Bon recalls her years of great distress following the rape she suffered at the age of nine. Our analysis shows that the author’s objective is not just to share her story, but also to inform the public about the impact of rape on a child, the possibility of overcoming this trauma, and the preparation to testify in court. Her writing, which lies at the intersection of autobiography and testimony, aims at developing “a survival guide” for this type of aggression. To this end, Bon uses intertextuality, direct speech and personal comments inserted throughout the narrative. Dans La petite fille sur la banquise, Adélaïde Bon évoque ses années de grandes souffrances suite au viol qu’elle a subi à l’âge de neuf ans. Notre analyse démontre que l’objectif de l’auteure n’est pas uniquement de partager son histoire mais d’informer le public de l’impact d’un viol sur une enfant, de la possibilité de surmonter ce traumatisme et de la préparation à témoigner en cour. L’écrit se situe à l’intersection de l’autobiographie et du témoignage afin d’élaborer “un guide de survie” pour ce type d’agression. À cette fin, Bon a recours à l’intertextualité, au discours direct et à des commentaires personnels insérés tout au long du récit.
