Experiencing a Common Story with Non-Human Beings: a Story About Sharing

To begin with, this article seeks to explore the bond which can unite two living beings. Indeed, this is the story about sharing, a common experience thanks to the meeting between two species: an animal, here a dog and a human being. From this bond emanates a significant story for the two protagonists involved: it deals with themes such as dog sledding, friendship between one dog and his kind and finally self-development and exploration. Through this testimony, my attempt is to reflect on a broader topic: humans sharing the planet. From a specific experience with another living being we tend to be more inclined to establish a strong bond with Gaia. Cet article cherche à explorer le lien pouvant unir deux êtres vivants. Il Iillustre l’histoire d’un partage et en même temps le partage d’une histoire. C’est ici l’idée d’une expérience commune qui se développe par la rencontre entre deux espèces : un chien (canis lupus familiaris) et un être humain (homo sapiens). De cette relation résulte une histoire notable, et révélatrice pour les deux protagonistes engagés dans celle-ci. Ce travail aborde des thèmes tels que l’activité du traineau à chiens, l’amitié d’un chien pour les autres membres de la meute, et enfin le développement personnel et l’exploration. Par ce témoignage, j’ai été amenée à réfléchir et à tenter d’aborder un sujet plus vaste et plus complexe: l’homme et le partage de la planète avec d’autres, « le monde plus qu’humain. » En ce sens, à partir d’une expérience, d’une histoire personnelle, vécue avec un autre être vivant, nous, humains, arrivons à établir une connexion, une relation retrouvée avec Gaïa.
