La Trinité – Pétroglyphes du Galion

Nous avons été amenés, suite à une découverte fortuite, à effectuer une expertise et un travail de relevé sur un site de pétroglyphes (« roches gravées ») dans la plaine du Galion, Commune de Trinité (Nord Atlantique). Ce site précolombien est constitué d’un groupement de grands rochers volcaniques autour de deux très grands blocs gravés situées en bordure d’une grande forêt marécageuse. D’après nos premières constatations, aucun tesson de céramique n’a été retrouvé dans cette zone de mangrov. Following an adventitious discovery, we were required to carry out an expert report and a survey at a site of petroglyphas (‘graved rock’) in the Galician plain, Commune de Trinidad (North Atlantic). This pre-Colombian site consists of a group of large volcanic rocks around two very large engraved blocks on the edge of a large marshland forest. According to our initial findings, no ceramic tweezers were found in this mangrov area.
