L’épave se situe à l’ouest du Rhône vif, la proue en terre, face au Mas de Terre Neuve, par 6 m à 7 m de fond. Elle est apparue, pour la première fois, dans les années 1970 lorsqu’un banc de sable en mouvement la libéra à peu près intacte. D’une longueur apparente de 25 m à 30 m, le pont supérieur encore en place, elle fut gravement endommagée par une très forte tempête en novembre 1983.
