The article is devoted to the development of cartography and the registry of tourism resources, which contributes to the clarity of the spatial allocation of objects. The article highlights the section of cultural-historical objects dealing with tourist resources registry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The inventory of tourist resources will help us to identify strengths and weaknesses of tourism development in the republic.Systematic analysis of information collected has allowed us to develop the structure, content and cartographic support of the registry. Identified cultural and historic resources include the following: monuments, archaeological sites, museum complexes, objects of monumental and artistic architecture, etc. The accounting of cultural and historic resources in the database was performed according to the following parameters: address/location of the object, creation time (or occurrence); category of cultural value of an object; property description; additional information (status, security of stay, the conditions of access to the object, etc.); location coordinates at which the particular object was tied to the map (cartographic basis). On the basis of registry created, thematic maps of cultural and historical sites of Yakutia have been prepared. As an example, here are presented the maps of Verkhoyansk District, as a district, which has a variety of cultural and historical tourism resources.
