Los resultados indican que los cortes fueron hechos con instrumentos metálicos, en su mayoría orientados a la extracción de la piel, con un procedimiento muy estandarizadoThe paper presents the results of an analysis of cut marks on pinniped bones recovered at two historic age sites located in Cape Shirreff, Livingston Islands, Chilean Antarctica. The location, disposition and morphological characteristics of each mark are described in order to identify butchering patterns employed at the studied sites.
