Arctic warming-induced cold damage to East Asian terrestrial ecosystems

Anomalous warming in the Arctic region of the Barents-Kara Sea is associated with cold damage and reduced springtime vegetation activity in East Asian forests, according to a correlation analysis of Arctic warming and leaf area anomalies in East Asia.
