Among analysed typical dairyfarms from 44 countries, the significant part ofreturns was made up the direct payments (particularly in European countries). The highest level was observed in Iceland. In 2007 the direct payments to milk production made up in typical milk farm from this country 40% in structure of returns. The stepping out large variety of systems of direct payments to dairy farms (the production of milk) in individual countries disturbs the conditions of economic competition in this sector.
