The article discusses the future of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) in the context of the emergence of factors that threaten the unity of the ACP. Furthermore, the policy pursued by the European Union has suggested that the existence of a group established with the aim of maintaining special relations with the former European Community is no longer justified in the new international circumstances. ACP decision-makers have started an internal debate on the future prospects of the grouping and have formed two groups to develop the principles of its functioning in the future. The aim of the article is to analyse the workings of both groups and evaluate the implementation of their objectives.(original abstract) Przedmiotem artykułu są rozważania na temat przyszłości grupy krajów Afryki, Karaibów i Pacyfiku (AKP). Ich uzasadnieniem są pojawiające się przesłanki zagrażające jedności grupy AKP. Ponadto polityka samej Unii Europejskiej wskazywała, że zasadność istnienia grupy powołanej dla prowadzenia specjalnych relacji z dawną Wspólnotą Europejską nie znajduje usprawiedliwienia w nowych uwarunkowaniach międzynarodowych. Decydenci AKP sami rozpoczęli wewnętrzną dyskusję na temat jej przyszłych perspektyw i powołali dwie grupy mające opracować szczegóły jej funkcjonowania w przyszłości. Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy prac obu grup i próba oceny realizacji przyjętych założeń.(abstrakt oryginalny)
