Dans cette optique, il parait pertinent d’analyser les activites de la Chine en Arctique et de tenter d’identifier quelle est la strategie de Pekin dans cette zone polaire. against the background of climate change in the Arctic, the rapid melting of pergelisol, the fall of glaciers and the melting of ice creams are creating strategic and economic opportunities that have not been capped by riparian states. The interest for the region is not limited to the countries directly concerned. China, for example, without direct access to the Arctic, has adopted a prudent official attitude; however, its diplomatic, economic, political and scientific efforts in this region are giving rise to negative action by the Western media. They often portray an ambitious and arrogant China, prete has shaken the sovereignty of Arctic countries to defend its interests in this region. With this in mind, it seems appropriate to analyse China’s activities in the Arctic and to try to identify what Pekin’s strategy is in this polar area. |
