A prolific journalist, Tricoche showed a keen interest in the Acadians of Atlantic Canada. His books and newspaper stories demonstrate his appreciation of Acadian culture. After losing her husband, his father’s young second wife sought refuge in the USA with her older stepson. Both Tricoche were stranded in Canada following a misunderstanding with immigration officers. They settled in Newfoundland where Georges Tricoche died. The author argues that the contributions of Tricoche deserve recognition. Article in Journal/Newspaper Newfoundland Terre-Neuve Unknown Canada Port Acadie 29 39 53
