Dans l’archipel Crozet, sur l’île de la Possession, au sein de la Baie américaine, le site de la vallée des phoquiers (fig. 1) a fait l’objet de deux missions récentes de relevés et d’expertises menées par le service régional de l’archéologie (Motte et al. 2018 Vidal à paraître). L’une en 2017 sous la responsabilité de Virginie Motte et l’autre en 2018 par Jonhattan Vidal. In the Crozet archipelago, on the island of Possession, within the American Bay, the site of the phoquier valley (Figure 1) has been the subject of two recent surveys and expert reports carried out by the Regional Department of Archaeology (Motte et al. 2018; Vidal to be published). One in 2017 under the responsibility of Virginie Motte and the other in 2018 by Jonhattan Vidal.
