The meeting conducted, like all the workshops organized by the Institute, under the Chatham House rule produced an interesting and dynamic debate from which I have extracted its themes. However, the facts, consequences and conclusions that I contribute in the document are only attributable to the development of my thinking in this field. It is formed, as it could not be otherwise, from the deep knowledge of the issue by the experts who participated, but always nuanced, in some cases treated with different sensitivity and perspective, but always from my own conception of geopolitics and the theoretical development of the analysis of international relations. A System, that of the Antarctic Treaty, immersed in a geopolitical framework that cannot be more uncertain: from the physical factor, with the deterioration of the environment, and the climate change as a global challenge; the human factor, with an enraged demography that calls into question the human solidarity; the economic factor, with the commercial war in progress; the sociopolitical factor, in which nationalism and populism are at ease and; finally, the military factor, with hybrid threats, and that does not want to leave domain without explore, from outer space, to the human spirit and the artificial intelligence.
