Description
Summary:`titrebThe analogy between the group and the dream. Implications and developments`/titrebThe author offers a réévaluation of the original hypothesis proposed by Didier Anzieu in 1966 on the analogy between the group and the dream. He clarifies the implications by developing and discussing its consequences. He shows how the concept of the group as an « other scene » and as a projected topography were at the origin of a change in perspective in the psychoanalytical conception of the group by creating a specific psychic space for the group. This notion has become enriched through the years with the addition of major concepts (the groupai illusion, 1971, psychic envelopes 1974-76) which clarify the underpinnings of this hypothesis. The analysis shows that for Didier Anzieu, one must not think first about the dream experience which the group favors. Anzieu prodeeds here as would Freud : the dream is the model of intelligibility of the psychic apparatus, the dream is thus also the model of psychic reality which prédominâtes in the group. This perspective leads one to wonder in what conditions the group should be considered to be functioning as in a dream. By introducing the notions of magie space and reciprocal inclusion (Sami-Ali) and on the basis of his own work, the author proposes to correlatively treat the dream experience in a common, shared psychic space and the work of the individual dreamer in the group.
