| Summary: | This scientific report describes the sea cucumber (Cucumaria frondosa) fishery in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon (France). A synthesis of knowledge on the biology and life cycle of this species is presented, as well as a history of the fishery. Using the data collected during the SPM2017-Hal scientific survey conducted in August 2017, as well as data from the professional fishery, both in Saint-Pierre and in Canada, an assessment of the sea cucumber stock and a diagnosis of the state of this stock are carried out. Management objectives for this stock, with a view to its sustainability, are proposed. Ce rapport scientifique décrit la pêcherie de concombres de mer (Cucumaria frondosa) de Saint-Pierre et Miquelon (France). Une synthèse des connaissances sur la biologie et le cycle de vie de cette espèce y est présentée, ainsi qu'un historique de la pêcherie. A l'aide des données recueillies lors de la campagne scientifique SPM2017-Hal menée en août 2017, ainsi que des données issues de la pêche professionnelle, saint-pierraise comme canadienne, une évaluation du stock de concombres de mer et un diagnostic sur l'état de ce stock sont réalisés. Des objectifs de gestion de ce stock, dans une perspective de durabilité du stock, sont proposés. |
