Depuis des générations, le peuple Inuit brave le climat du Groenland, terre polaire hostile. Habitué aux mutations constantes de leur environnement, leur capacité d’adaptation est grande et les conditions extrêmes n’entravent pas l’évolution de ce peuple résilient. Cependant, la modernisation rapide et l’ouverture au monde extérieur fragilisent l’équilibre d’une société groenlandaise en quête d’identité. Ce phénomène de mondialisation brutale bouleverse les perspectives et ouvre le chemin d’une réflexion indépendantiste et protectionniste. Les modifications du climat réinterrogent les pratiques et suscitent un engouement international non sans conséquences. Since generations, the Inuit people have been wearing Greenland’s climate, a hostile polar land. Accustomed to constant changes in their environment, their ability to adapt is high and extreme conditions do not hamper the development of this resilient people. However, rapid modernisation and openness to the outside world weaken the balance of a Greenlandic society in search of identity. This phenomenon of brutal globalisation is disrupting prospects and paving the way for independent and protectionist thinking. Changes in the climate raise concerns about practices and give rise to international enthusiasm with consequences.
