| Summary: | Nur damit hier nicht der Eindruck entsteht, dass die virtuelle Bibliothekswelt in Second Life etwas ganz neues ist: Vor ca. 6 Jahren informierte ich in Inetbib schon über ein derartiges Projekt, Librarea. Ich habe damals einige Ausflüge dort gemacht, inzwischen ist die Librarea-Welt wohl nicht mehr vorhanden, ich habe sie auf Active Worlds jedenfalls nicht mehr gefunden. Auf dem InfoIsland von Second Life geht es ähnlich zu wie damals, nur sind die Funktionen wesentlich vielfältiger und kompl. Only this does not give the impression that the virtual library world in Second Life is something new: Some 6 years ago I already informed I in Inetbib about such a project, Librarea. I made some excursions there at the time, and the Librarea world is no longer present, and I no longer found it on Active Worlds. Second Life’s Info-Iceland is similar to that at the time, only the functions are much more diverse and complex.
