Huge natural gas reserves are located in the north of our country. Related to this is the need to lay pipelines in permafrost soils, and the important aspect is to increase the reliability of gas pipelines laid under this condition. The article discusses the existing design of devices for securing gas pipelines, their advantages and disadvantages are shown. The calculated values of stresses in a real pipeline are compared with the data of calculations for the strength and stability of the gas pipeline in accordance with the regulation.
