Opinnäytetyö on kirjoitettu portfoliomaisessa päiväkirjamuodossa, jossa kuvataan opiskelijan arkea projektipäällikkönä isossa yrityksessä. Se koostuu 10 seurantaviikosta, jossa merkintöjä kirjoitettiin viikon jokaisena arkipäivänä. Jokaisen seurantaviikon lopussa on analyysi, jossa käydään läpi viikon keskeisimmät saavutukset ja havainnot tehdyn työn näkökulmasta. Työskentelen projektipäällikkönä suuressa koko valtakunnan kattavassa logistiikka-alan yrityksessä. Projektipäällikkönä vastuualue kattaa Itä- ja Pohjois-Suomen. Työtehtävät koostuvat monesta eri osa-alueesta. Päätehtävänä on eri hankkeiden ja projektien läpivienti, aikataulutus, seuranta sekä suunnittelijoiden työn ohjaaminen. Viikoittaisten analyysien tavoitteena on kehittää opiskelijan oman työn tehokkuutta ja tarkastella projektipäällikön työtehtäviä yrityksen näkökulmasta. This thesis report was written in a journal format. It describes the student's daily work as a project manager in a large company. It consists of ten weekly periods, where entries are written on every weekday of the week. At the end of every week, an analysis was written in which the most important achievements and findings of the week are reviewed from the point of view of the work completed. The student works in a large logistics company covering the whole of Finland. As a project manager, the area of responsibility covers Eastern and Northern Finland. The tasks consist of many different areas. The main responsibilities are implementation, scheduling, monitoring, and directing the work of the designers of various projects. The aim of the weekly analyzes was to develop the efficiency of the student's own work and to examine the project manager's duties from the company's perspective.
