Opinnäytetyö tehtiin Pohjois-Suomen sosiaalialan osaamiskeskuksen järjestämän Lapsen hyvä arki -hankkeen kautta. Tilaajana oli Peruspalvelukuntayhtymä Selänne. Työn aiheena oli luoda Selänteen peruspalvelukuntayhtymän tarjoamista perhepalveluista opas lapsiperheiden käyttöön. Tavoitteina oli selkeän ja perhelähtöisen oppaan laatiminen sekä hyvän teoriapohjan luominen. Opinnäytetyö oli toiminnallinen opinnäytetyö. Sen teoriapohjan muotoutumisen apuna käytettiin 2000-luvun lähteitä niin Internetistä kuin kirjallisuudestakin. Palveluopas puolestaan muotoutui yhteistyössä Selänteen peruspalvelukuntayhtymän esimiesten kanssa. Opinnäytetyön lopputuloksena syntyi toimiva opas Peruspalvelukuntayhtymä Selänteen tarpeisiin. Opas esitteli lyhyesti kaikki tarjolla olevat perhepalvelut sekä yhteystiedot niitä hoitaviin toimipisteisiin ja sen työntekijöihin. Samalla valmistuneen opinnäytetyön teoriaosuus syventyi tarkemmin oppaassa esiintyneisiin palveluihin. Se myös avasi palvelujen käyttöä ja niihin liittyviä lakeja. Sekä palveluopas että opinnäyteraportti tuottivat halutun lopputuloksen, ja saavuttivat niille asetetut tavoitteet. Selänteen peruspalvelukuntayhtymä sai tarvitsemansa oppaan ja työn tekijä löysi paljon uutta tietoa tulevaisuuttaan varten. The thesis was made for the project Lapsen hyvä arki, arranged by the social welfare center of expertise of Northern Finland. The practical part of the thesis was comissioned by Selänne municipal coalition for providing basic services. The subject of the thesis was to make a information leaflet for families with children about the available family services in Selänne. The goal was to create a clear and family oriented information leaflet and provide good theoretical foundations of the subject. The thesis was a practical work oriented thesis. The theoretical framework was based on sources of both the internet and literature published after the year 2000. The information leaflet itself was formed in co-operation with the managers of Selänne. As the result of the thesis, a functional information leaflet filling the needs of Selänne was created. The leaflet presented briefly all the available family services and contact information of the people involved in providing the services. The theory part of the thesis described more thoroughly the family services, the use of these services and the laws related to them. Both the information leaflet and the thesis report achieved the goals that were set. Selänne got the information leaflet they needed and the writer of the thesis found a lot of new information and acquired skills for the future.
