Summary: | "The first giant Constellation plane over to come here landed at South-west airport at 1:35 this afternoon and then took off at 2:20 for the remainder of its run to Paris. The ship operated by the Transcontinental and Western air line was on a Civil Aeronautics Authority proving flight preparatory to opening of regular TWA service. From here it went to New York and will go on to Boston, Newfoundland, Ireland and then to France. Its run started from Washington, the flight having been delayed four hours by low ceiling conditions.
