The compilation and edit of an ethnographic map series for the Leningrad region using geoinformation technologies

Данная работа является завершающим этапом создания серии этнографических карт по данным переписи населения 1926 года. В процессе работы была обновлена геоинформационная система «Этнография Ленинградской области», отредактирована картографическая основа проекта и картографические произведения прошлых лет, в которые вошли данные по следующим народам: эстонцы, немцы, финны, ижоры, латыши, литовцы, карелы и вепсы. Кроме того, были добавлены поляки, цыгане и евреи. Серия карт включает в себя отображение типов населенных пунктов, ареалов расселения с отображением численности населения, распределение поселений по агроклиматическим районам, а также близость к путям сообщения. Всего в серию входит 38 карт. Работа проходила в сотрудничестве с Отделом этнографии Северо-Запада России и Прибалтики Российского Этнографического музея. This work is the final stage in the creation of a series of ethnographic maps based on the population census of 1926. During the work, the geographic information system "Ethnography of the Leningrad Region" was updated, the cartographic basis of the project and cartographic works of previous years were edited, which included data on the following peoples: Estonians, Germans, Finns, Izhorians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Karelians and Veps. In addition, Poles, Gypsies and Jews were added. The series of maps includes the display of types of settlements, areas of settlement with a population display, the distribution of settlements by agro-climatic areas, as well as proximity to communication routes. In total, the series includes 38 cards. The work was carried out in cooperation with the Department of Ethnography of the North-West of Russia and the Baltic States of the Russian Ethnographic Museum.
