Особенностью данной работы является то, что в ней исследуется воздействие металлургического предприятия на почвы в зоне северной тайги, природные комплексы которой наиболее чувствительны к антропогенным нагрузкам. Объектом изучения являются антропогенно преобразованные почвы города Костомукши, а также пригородных лесов в направлении ГПЗ «Костомукшский» и КГОКа. Выполнены анализы на содержание валовых и подвижных форм тяжелых металлов, проведена статистическая обработка данных, которые сравнивались с результатами исследований, проведенных на данной территории ранее. Вывод следующий: г. Костомукшу и прилегающие к нему территории можно отнести к областям со слабой степенью загрязнения почв тяжелыми металлами. На современном этапе развития города значимая экологическая деградация природной среды связана с воздействием инфраструктуры города и выбросами автотранспорта. The peculiarity of this work is that it examines the implications of the metallurgical enterprise on soils in the zone of Northern taiga natural complexes which are the most sensitive to anthropogenic stress. The object of the study are anthropogenically transformed soils of Kostomuksha city and suburban forests in the direction of the state natural reserve “Kostomukshskiy” and JSC “Karelsky Okatysh”. Analyses on the content of total concentration and mobile forms of heavy metals, carried out statistical processing of the data, which were compared with the results of studies conducted at this territory previously. The conclusion is: town Kostomuksha and adjacent areas can be attributed to areas with a weak degree of soil contamination with heavy metals. At the present stage of development of the city is significant environmental degradation of the natural environment associated with the impact of the city's infrastructure and transport emissions.
