Description
Summary:Resumen de presentación realizada en el XVIIth IAGA Workshop on Geomagnetic Observatory Instruments, Data Acquisition and Processing, del 04 al 10 de septiembre de 2016 en Bélgica. There are four Magnetic Permanent Observatories (MPO) in the Republic of Argentina, three of these are under the direction of the National Meteorological Service: Pilar - Córdoba (PIL), Islas Orcadas del Sur – Antártida (ORC) and La Quiaca, Jujuy (LQA). The last one is out of service since 1970. The remaining observatory is operated by the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and is located in Trelew, Chubut (TLW). The data acquisition in these observatories, both regularly and site difference control measurements, are influenced by many factors that affect all the operation process. The objective of this paper is to identify the processes that need immediate improvement and design a better approach to the quality control assessment.
