Description
Summary:During the surveying of fleshy fungi of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug–Yugra region (Northwestern Siberia, Russia), we found a distinct new species of Hohenbuehelia (Pleurotaceae, Agaricales). This paper is devoted to the morphological and ecological description of the new Hohenbuehelia and its phylogenetic position among the currently described species of this genus with publicly available ITS sequences. The new species differs reliably from other known species of the genus by the combination of strongly developed tomentum, dark lamellae, copiously encrusted metuloids and abundant crystals embedded in the pileipellis
