Samples were assigned to either Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) 1 or 4 for sea ice analysis purposes. The biomarker abundance data (IP 25, HBI II and HBI III) was used to calculate the H-Print and iPOC values. Monthly mean sea ice concentrations were collected from the assigned DBO region and the month indicated. Sea ice persistence values are reported by year.
