The author reviewed current e-waste methods at the University of Wyoming, top e-waste recycling universities in the United States, as well as a few countries globally that outperform in terms of e-waste recycling. The purpose of the study is to identify additional options the University of Wyoming has in terms of electronic waste recycling. In conclusion, the author found there to be dismal efforts at the University of Wyoming, high efforts within the United States at other universities, and the best results globally. Leading campuses globally outperform the United States by far. Recommendations to the University of Wyoming would be to partner with IT Refresh to acquire electronic waste bins on campus to allow students to responsibly dispose of any electronics he/she may possess.
