Dans og skapandi skólastarf : mikilvægi þróunar eigin starfskenningar

Meistaraverkefnið ,,Dans og skapandi skólastarf“ er byggt á tveimur námskeiðum sem ég hélt og ígrundaði sérstaklega í þeim tilgangi að þróa eigin starfskenningu. Fyrra námskeiðið hélt ég fyrir hælisleitendur og það seinna fyrir nemendur í Borgarholtsskóla. Í inngangi ritgerðarinnar fjalla ég um fyrri reynslu mína sem kennari og listamaður sem hefur nýst mér við gerð námskeiðanna. Í fræðikafla ritgerðarinnar fjalla ég um skapandi skólastarf með sérstakri áherslu á hugmyndir Ann Craft og Ken Robinson. Í kjölfarið fjalla ég um smiðjurnar sjálfar í ljósi fræðanna sem liggja til grundvallar með tilvísun í ákveðnar æfingar sem ég beitti til að ná fram þeim áhersluþáttum sem ég legg áherslu á. Niðurstöður ritgerðarinnar varpa ljósi á starfskenningu mína sem ég hef þróað á meðan ferlinu stóð. Starfskenningin byggir á ígrundun þar sem ég skoðaði sjálfan mig sem danskennara og vann að því að móta eigin starfskenningu. The Master's project "Dance and Creative Schooling" is based on two courses that I held and pondered specifically for the purpose of developing my own work theory. The first course I held for asylum seekers and the second for students at Borgarholtsskóli. In the introduction to the thesis, I discuss my past experience as a teacher and artist who has helped me in the preparation of the courses. In the thesis I discuss creative school work with a special focus on the ideas of Ann Craft and Ken Robinson. Subsequently, I will discuss the builders themselves in the light of the sciences that are based on specific exercises that I applied to highlight the focus areas that I emphasize. The results of the essay shed light on my work theory that I have developed during the process. The work theory is based on reflection, where I looked at myself as a dance teacher and worked on developing my own work theory. The project is a 20-credit master's degree project for the M.Art.Ed degree in art education at the Iceland Academy of the Arts.
