Summary: | In the previous paper, a numerical method for the calculation of equilibrium composition in multicomponent aqueous solutions has been shown. The objective of this paper is to propose an improved method of calculation for the more complex equilibria in the solid-liquid systems accompanying a deposition of insoluble salt. The H-Na-Ca-Cl-CO_3 aqueous system has been chosen as an example, and the amounts of CaCO_3 obtained by precipitating calcium solutions with dilute carbonic acid or carbonate solutions are discussed.
