The proposed access road extends approximately 500 feet north from Chemical Road to the proposed substation. No archeological materials were observed during the survey. Due to the lack of cultural materials in the Project area, POWER recommends that construction be allowed to proceed without further consultation. If, during construction of the substation or access road, cultural resources are encountered, all activities at the location should be halted until the Texas Historical Commission (THC) is notified and an appropriate course of action is determined.
